Scavenging crates n stuff

currently with scavenging you get 1 crate and 1 crate only, countless times i have gone back to the guy with a full crate and 3-5 boxes half full of scavenging stuff,
if we could have multiple or specialized boxes like a scrap box for scrap so its doesnt just take up a spot for literally anything else or a refrigerator crate for food items or a safe for valubles

then turn down the spawn rate and not have it spawn in clusters, this would also make it so you scavenge more then drive back and fourth between islands and everywhere else

Collecting junk wasn't meant to bring large sums of money in. Just a side mission you can do while crossing the ocean or basing out at sea. Players should compete for the lost cargo to reap the profits while protecting what they've collected. If we boost the income, the job will become over powered and abused.

One more thing, have it so the scrap is added the the crate on touch

That would void out all the content inside the boxes. The current system allows individual items to be taken or everything at once. If you target the valuable items first, your container will payout more with each return. Also helps to carry some of the boxes back to the NPC if your container is full, allowing you to recover more items at once.
