If you want to play Coast Guard more in-depth, with more realism, or just coordinate better with your fellow Guards, the information in this post might prove useful.

10 codes (Simplified for use in HRP. If you want something really in-depth, you can look up the real police codes.)

10-00 - Emergency response all units
10-0 - Caution / Danger
10-1 - Not understood
10-2 - Negative
10-3 - Stop transmitting
10-4 - Affirmative/Understood (OK)
10-5 - Relay message (to)
10-6 - Busy unless urgent
10-7 - Unit out of service
10-8 - Unit in service
10-9 - Repeat message

10-10 - Decommisioned from service
10-11 - Identify (radio speaker)
10-12 - Civilians present
10-13 - Transit advice
10-14 - Suspect(s) with citizens
10-15 - Suspect in custody
10-16 - Suspect down (incapacitated / dead / apprehended)
10-17 - Report to / Meet with
10-18 - Quickly
10-19 - Returning to PD / base

10-20 - Location
10-21 - Contact X by SMS
10-22 - Disregard / Belay
10-23 - Arrived at scene
10-24 - Stand by (Stop)
10-25 - Area / building clear
10-26 - Check suspect(s) for warrants / wanted
10-27 - Identify suspect(s)
10-28 - Suspect(s) is/are wanted
10-28B - Suspects are dangerous
10-28C - Suspect is not dangerous
10-29 - Assignment completed

10-30 - Crime in progress
10-31 - Gunfire / Shots fired
10-32 - Emergency
10-33 - Robbery / Mugging
10-34 - Vehicular theft
10-35 - Burglary / shoplifting
10-36 - Kidnapping
10-37 - Murder
10-38 - Lockdown
10-39 - Riot

Simple codes

Code 1 - Non-urgent situation (Low priority)
Code 2 - Urgent situation (High priority)
Code 3 - Emergency situation, very urgent (Highest priority)
Code 4 - Situation resolved
Code 5 - Undercover operation
Code 6 - Leaving vehicles to investigate
Code 7 - Boat/ship stop/inspection
Code 8 - Lockdown
Code 9 - Bomb threat / explosion
Code 10 - Riot or major disturbance
Code 11 - Resume normal operation
Code 12 - Problem at PD / base
