If you have created an organization, or inherited it, you may sometimes encounter an issue where you cannot leave the organization. It should say something like this in chat:
If that is the case, you will need to click on your name on the Social list in the Social menu (F4 -> Social) and then look on to the right to this panel:
You will then need to uncheck all four of those boxes and then click on "Apply Changes" below them. If you want to give the owner to someone else, give them all of the permissions by clicking on their name and then checking all of the boxes for them and then applying. Now you should be able to leave the organization.
