Title: Video Recording Software
Post by: Billy Bong (billybob41) on April 17, 2017, 02:47:43 pm
Having the ability to make short videos and share them is important. This allows players to report rule breaking or any type of bugs. I have used many over the years and found some better than others. If anyone else would like to share what they use, feel free to do so!

Nvidia's Shadowplay - Free for their video cards

Bandicam - Free 10 min clips

Overwolf - Newer, free, works well with most games

I also recommend Open Broadcasting Software (OBS) as, if configured correctly, will run on lower end PCs. If you have a higher end PC, and some extra money, X-Plit works too.

OBS is pretty good as stated when configured right, file sizes will be large though.

Fraps is good, just go on a youtube video where the author gives theirs out for free. No watermark and no time limit.
