It seems they are removing the ability to store games inside your account's inventory... You may want to read more on this if you collect games or trade often:

Note: Pre-existing gifts will be unaffected by this change.

Honestly, all I can see is this is going to hugely impact the trading community. This is something that I imagine is highly traded. Game 4 game and shit. This will also hurt G2A a bunch because most games are not product keys but actually done over automatic Steam trade.
Maybe that is why they chose to do this?

Rip, trading games is how I got started with metal and stuff on TF2.

You can still collect "keys" to hold them for later use, but trading them is much harder than gifts. This is a major blow to my game collection...
