Prop Pricing
« on: February 03, 2018, 12:20:51 am »
putting prices on props so having a huge prop boat isnt free, or maybe just the big props

this could also be done with thrusters/wheels where the more thrust costs more so people dont just have speed boats

this may be a problem with ADV dupe unless you do the only big props have cost

if you do go with only big props i suggest not doing it with the pannels as they cant be used as a buoyant prop as well as a .05 or .025 prop

With the buoyancy tool, all props are buoyant. And prop boats are valuable because it allows skilled users to make their own craft without the need to buy one. That's the whole appeal. If they were made expensive, we'd have a server full of SC-1s puttering around all over the place and no actual creative designs.

i hate people who say "quarter till 7" like just say 6:75 dumb as

I could only see this working if all props were at a base price and were at a decent price.  For example, between $10-$50 a prop at most.  It would encourage players to purchase boats, but it would also reward players for building sturdy boats and using their time wisely...

That two

i also mentioned that it could be only for large props so we dont have 3 capital ships floating around red or blue harbor in the way
